Setting up your KMBox B Pro is straightforward when following this step-by-step guide. We'll walk you through the process, from connecting your KMBox to verifying its functionality on both your second PC and main PC. Let's get started!
Download and keep the DMA Cheats folder on your second PC. Only download files to the main PC if specifically instructed. DO NOT download or run DMA cheats on the main PC.
Connect the KMBox according to the picture below:
After connecting the KMBox, it should display the following screen:
On your second PC, run the USB Serial driver.exe as an administrator:
Select INSTALL from the options:
Once installed, you should see a "Driver Install Success!" message:
Run the 3. Check COM port number.exe program and navigate to Tools > Serial:
You'll see connected devices listed. Remember the numbers associated with the KMBox (e.g., COM3, COM1, COM4).
Disconnect the USB cable connecting your KMBox and the second PC. The device number that disappears from the list is your KMBox's COM port. For example, if it’s COM4, the number is 4.
Reconnect the USB cable to the second PC and remember the identified COM port number.
Run the 4. Test.exe program as an administrator. Enter your KMBox's COM port number (e.g., 4) and press Enter:
Remember the position of the mouse cursor on the main PC. Enter any coordinates for the test, e.g., 100 100, and press Enter. Check if the mouse cursor has moved on your main PC:
If the mouse cursor moves, your KMBox is working correctly. If not, watch the video tutorial and refer to the troubleshooting section below for possible solutions.
If your KMBox hasn't been activated before August 31st, do not activate as it can cause issues.
